Sometimes there are circumstances that prevent a Seller from listing publicly on MLS. When a Realtor works with a Seller who has made the decision to sell, and one who would prefer to only have a certain clientele view the property, the Seller may choose to market the property as an Exclusive Listing with the Realtor.
Exclusive listings are not very common and sometimes they are exceptional, one-of-a-kind luxury properties that only a select few Buyers will be able to view.
